  David Hemp made his Glamorgan debut in 1991following early success with Millfield School, theWelsh Schools sides, and the junior Glamorganteams. He was a member of Glamorgan's team thatwon the Sunday League in 1993, and toured withEngland A to India and Bangladesh in 1994-95.
David Hemp made his Glamorgan debut in 1991 following early success with Millfield School, the Welsh Schools sides, and the junior Glamorgan teams. He was a member of Glamorgan's team that won the Sunday League in 1993, and toured with England A to India and Bangladesh in 1994-95.

In 1997 he joined Warwickshire and had five seasons as a capped player with the Midlands returning to Glamorgan for the 2002 season and was made captain in 2007.

He currently has amassed more than 20,000 runs in First Class and A List cricket and has 27 First Class Hundreds and 5 One Day centuries to his name. An excellent fielder with a safe pair of hands, he has pouched 270 catches to date in his professional career.
