St Fagans Cricket Six a Side – Monday 16th June

Fancy entering a team and having a Glamorgan star playing your side?

The David Hemp Benefit Year “Six a Side” competition will be held at St Fagans Cricket Club on Monday 16th June.

The afternoon of fun starts with the first game commencing at 1pm, with 8 teams competing in two groups with each match consisting of 5 x eight ball overs. Each team will comprise a total of 6 players, made up from 5 “amateurs” plus one “Pro” from the current Glamorgan squad.

With three pitches at St Fagans, each team will play at least three “round robin” matches between 1 and 5pm, with four teams progressing to the semi finals. The grand final will take place at 6.45pm. The entry fee per team is a donation to the David Hemp Benefit Year of £300 which includes a buffet lunch and tea. As well as a trophy for the winning team, there will also be a raffle and auction prizes up for grabs.

We still have places available so any help selling this to corporate contacts would be much appreciated. Please forward any leads to me.
